Vaughan Healy (aka Bunni) as breeder of these puppies extend the following
warranties to the buyer named on the original puppy registration application for
that puppy only.
LIMITED 72-HOUR WARRANTY ON CONGENITAL DEFECTS:
To qualify for this warranty, you must have your
puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice within 3 business days
of purchase. Warranty does not cover nor will I be responsible for any
charges other than the price paid for the puppy (such as veterinarian fees,
shipping, x-rays, etc).
I guarantee against congenital defects such as heart, lung, kidney and other
life threatening congenital defects found during the initial exam. If any such
defect is found you must
request a written statement from your vet on his/her office stationery signed and
dated by him/her, for our records, stating health risk and including a description
of the symptoms, as well as any test results, supporting his/her opinion to validate the guarantee.
A copy of your original contract must accompany any claim.
To make a claim for a replacement puppy, you must notify me by telephone on the
day of the initial exam. (No cash refunds will be given except as stated below.)
If your puppy
qualifies for a replacement in accordance with the conditions stated above you
can choose a new puppy (of the same retail price, breed and sex) when one becomes available.
If I cannot offer you a replacement puppy within 90 days, you will be entitled
to a cash refund of your puppy's original purchase price. This is the only
circumstance in which a cash refund will be issued. (Shipping costs, veterinary
fees, drugs, any and all other ancillary costs incurred by you will not be
included in the refund nor will I be responsible for those costs under any
circumstances.)
If a puppy is returned under this warranty, buyer must return and sign
all paperwork to me with the puppy being returned.
Limited One Year Warranty On Genetic Defects
I will also guarantee against any debilitating or chronic genetic
defect for the period of one year during which time such defects should become
evident if present. Warranty does not cover nor will I be responsible for any charges
such as veterinarian fees, shipping, drugs, etc.
A qualifying genetic defect must meet both of the criteria below:
1) Defect is clearly the result of genetics and could not be caused by
environmental, nutritional, or other factors.
2) Defect will cause early death or disability or will require continuous
medical treatment for maintenance of condition.
If any such defect is found you must request a written statement from your vet
on his/her office stationery signed and dated by him/her, for our records,
stating health risk and including a description of the symptoms, as well as any
test results supporting his/her opinion to validate the guarantee. If
continuous care will be needed for management of the condition vet must provide
statement of treatment that will be necessary. A copy of your original contract
must accompany any claim.
To make a claim for a replacement puppy under this warranty you must notify me
immediately upon diagnosis by your veterinarian. If your puppy
qualifies for a replacement in accordance with the conditions stated above you
can choose a new puppy (of the same retail price, breed and sex) when one becomes available.
In this case the buyer will have the option of keeping the puppy they have
grown to love in addition to receiving a replacement puppy.
If a puppy is returned under this warranty, buyer must return and sign
all paperwork to me with the puppy being returned.
This warranty is void if dog has not been kept up to date on all shots & vet
recommended preventives.
This warranty is void if the dog is over six months old and has not been spayed
or neutered.
This warranty is void if the dog has been bred.
Other Important Notes
Buyer understands that my goal is to place puppies in homes where they will be
well cared for loved the for the duration of the puppy's life. If for any
reason buyer must get rid of puppy (or dog) I urge you not to sell it to a home
you know nothing about. I will ALWAYS take back any puppy (or dog) that was
born here and I will either find an excellent home for it or keep it with me.
Buyer understands that seller cannot guarantee size or color of puppy as at
maturity. All sizes and colors are represented as I believe them to be based on
observation and experience but they are not exact and cannot be guaranteed.
Seller makes no warranty that buyer will be able to show the puppy.
Buyer agrees (unless other agreement is reached and in writing) to have the
puppy spayed or neutered by the time it is 6 months old or at the time
recommended by the buyer's vet.
Buyer understands that all of my puppies are purebred poodles with registration
application papers but they are not all registered with the same kennel club.
(Some are registered AKC and some are CKC.) Generally this is noted on the site
with the information regarding that litter. Buyer agrees that if this is an
important distinction it is his or her responsibility to find out before
reserving a puppy which kennel club the puppy is registered to.
All information determined by the seller to be relevant and/or necessary in
order to make a sound decision on purchasing a puppy (and quite a bit of
information on raising a puppy) is contained on the web site at
www.PoodleJunction.com. Seller will
not be responsible for misunderstandings caused by buyer's failure to read the
information.
This written
agreement constitutes the terms set between the seller and the buyer of this puppy.
Upon delivery, the buyer agrees to the terms and conditions.
